In 2017 I started a weekly project entitled "Kings of Comedy" where I illustrated a different comedian every week in an effort to play with portraiture, character and gesture. By having an ongoing weekly project with similar parameters I was able to more clearly see growth and exploration of my style from week 1 with Rodney Dangerfield to week 52 Big Jay Oakerson.
